Polymerized from a single propylene monomer, it has the lowest density among common plastics, and its molecular chain regularity is very high, so the material has high crystallinity and poor impact performance.
Advantages: good strength, good corrosion resistance.
Disadvantages: poor impact resistance (brittle), poor toughness, poor dimensional stability, easy aging, poor long-term heat resistance and stability, and poor barrier properties to gases such as oxygen and carbon dioxide.
Uses: It can be used for packing belts, bottle blowing, brushes, wrapping paper films, etc.
Distinguishing method: the wire is flat and not long when pulled by fire.

Polypropylene Homopolymer

2 PP-B
It is obtained by copolymerization of propylene and part of ethylene, and the ethylene content is generally 7-15%. However, since the probability of two ethylene monomers and three monomers being connected together in PP-B is very high, it means that only embedded ethylene monomers exist. In the segment phase, the regularity of PP-H is not reduced, so the purpose of improving the performance of PP-H melting point, long-term hydrostatic pressure resistance, long-term heat resistance and pipe processing and molding cannot be achieved.
Advantages: better impact resistance.
Disadvantages: low transparency, low gloss, poor moisture absorption resistance, acid and alkali corrosion resistance, solubility resistance and oxidation resistance at high temperatures.
Uses: For bumpers, thin-walled products, strollers, sports equipment, luggage, paint buckets, battery boxes, thin-walled products.
Identification method: It does not turn black after being ignited, and can pull out a very long round wire.
