Biaxially oriented polypropylene film has the advantages of light weight, non-toxic, odorless, moisture-proof, high mechanical strength, good dimensional stability, good printing performance, and good transparency. It has the advantages of high transparency, good gloss, good barrier property, high impact strength and low temperature resistance. Its disadvantage is that it is easy to shrink the film during heat sealing (except for the heat shrinkable cigarette film using its heat shrinkability). Its overall performance is superior to that of moisture-proof cellophane, polyethylene (PE) film, and PET film. BOPP film also has excellent printing effect. Disadvantages: The elongation rate is lower than that of PP, and the heat sealing performance is poor. It is not easy to seal when used independently. When used, it is generally combined with PE and other films with good heat sealing properties.
