The packaging materials are different, and the sealing requirements are different. Tons of bags, such as powder or toxic materials, and articles that are afraid of being contaminated, have very strict requirements for sealing function. Materials that are simply damp or moldy also have special requirements for air tightness. Therefore, when planning a large bag, pay attention to the influence of base fabric coating technology and sewing technology on airtightness.

Four, check the selection of base fabric

When planning a flexible FIBC, first clarify the weight of the loaded goods, and determine the volume of the large bag based on the proportion of the packaged materials. It also depends on whether the loaded materials are sharp and solid block materials. If so, the base fabric should be thicker when planning the ton bag, on the contrary it can be thinner. In practice planning, the base fabric is usually selected as (150-170) G/m2 for a ton bag with a load of 500kg, the longitudinal and transverse tensile strength of the base fabric is (1470-1700) N/5cm, and the elongation is 20-35%. Tons of bags with a load of more than 1000kg. The base fabric is usually selected (170~210)G/m2, the longitudinal and transverse tensile strength of the base fabric is (1700-2000) N/5cm, and the elongation is 20~35%.

Increase the strength of monofilament

To ensure the strength of the base fabric for large bags, it is necessary to improve the tensile strength of the flat yarn. The relative strength of the flat yarn should reach above 0.4N/tex, and the elongation rate should be 15-30%. In the actual production and processing process, the amount of filler masterbatch needs to be strictly controlled, usually around 2%. If the master batch is increased too much, or the recycled material is increased, the strength of the base fabric will decrease. Therefore, it is necessary to strictly control the quality of the material, and the ton bag selects the wire drawing material produced by the standardized manufacturer whose melt index reaches the national standard.

Five, close the selection of straps

In the planning of FIBC, the selection of sling material is very important. The national standard clearly stipulates a safety factor of 1:6. In the practical planning of ton bags, one must consider the loss of the strength of the sling during the sewing process; second, consider the hoisting method. For example, for a ton bag with a load of 500kg, the sling is usually selected (50-60)g/m, and the tensile force is (1300-1800) N/m; a ton bag with a load of 1000kg is usually selected (60-75)g/m, and the tensile force is (1800-2100 )N/m, the sling is required to reach the weaving density requirement. When planning slings for ton bags, you can choose two loops, four loops, etc. to increase the tensile strength.

Add additives to extend service life

In order to improve the anti-aging ability of plastic ton bags under sunlight, a certain amount of anti-purple agent and stabilizer should be added in the flat yarn stretching technology. According to the length of the ton bag service period (six months or one year), the increase is determined, usually between (0.1~3)%. Some companies increase the anti-aging masterbatch made by mixing stabilizers, anti-purple agents and other additives, and the effect is good.

Structural planning

When planning the ton bag structure, the strength of the waistband in the national standard should be more than twice the strength of the base fabric, but the planning effect is not good in practice, because the strength of the base fabric and the waistband are inconsistent, causing the base fabric to crack first. When planning, the waistband and the base fabric should be made of the same strength base fabric material to prevent this doubt.

Sewing Technology Planning

In addition to the sewing requirements according to the rules of the national standard, the ton bag also needs to consider the anti-aging function of the suture and the effect of the sewing on the tensile strength of the base fabric. When packaging powder, toxic, and contaminated items, the first thing to do is to deal with the question of tightness. Therefore, in the practical planning, thick thread and fine needles or non-woven fabrics are used to sew together with the base fabric to improve the sealing performance. In addition, when sewing large bags, it is necessary to select a polyester thread with a strength of more than 18kg to ensure that its sewing strength reaches the national standard.

Inlet and outlet planning

According to the national standard, the longitudinal and transverse tensile strength of the base fabric of the inlet and outlet is ≥828N/50mm, but in practice planning, because the outlet accepts a larger tensile force, it can be higher, and the strength of the inlet can be lower. Covering is usually used. Membrane base cloth (90-100) S/m2.

Other elements

In the process of planning and testing, the tonnage of the bottom crane structure without the inlet can usually meet the safety factor requirements of the national regulations. However, the strength of the ton bag with the discharge port is usually not up to the specification. This requires thinking about increasing the strength of the bottom opening during planning, such as increasing the thickness of the bottom base cloth of the bag, increasing the reinforcing cloth of the material opening, etc., to solve this problem.
